- Pleased that France would most likely get the largest share of Germany's reparations
- Somewhat pleased that France could secure eastern froniter through demilitarised Rhineland
- Somewhat pleased that Germany had less threat of war because of its weakened economy and strength, as the Treaty of Versailles had taken away population, raw materials, and land
- France also proposed an Anglo/American Treaty of Guarantee for France which asked for aid from Britain and US in the case of German attack. However, the US began to isolate itself while Britain was unwilling to offer assistance alone. This therefore caused a failed treaty and insecurities on France's eastern border.
Woodrow Wilson
- Pleased about the establishment of League of Nations for peacekeeping
- Pleased that his disarmament clause was partially achieved through the restrictions placed on losing powers
- Pleased with abandonment of concept of independent Rhineland which reduced harshness and allowed Germany to still have a strong economy in the future able to trade with the US
- Pleased with not having definite high reparations
- Pleased with the creation of independent Czechoslovakia and yugoslavia, as well as the independence of Poland.
- Felt that the Treaty of Versailles in general was too harsh
Lloyd George
- Probably the most satisfied with this moderately harsh peace, was fine with most terms except for transferring German speaking territories to France or Poland
- Lloyd George was pleased as he persuaded Clemenceau to reduce harshness of terms
- Pleased as it expanded its empire by gaining territory in the Treaty of Versailles
